Enemy Within Passionfruit IPA – ABV 7.8%

A prototype brew that will push your citrus tolerance to the brink and back; Elvis Juice is crammed with tart pithy grapefruit and orange. A different take on our flagship style, this IPA has toasty malt nudging zesty orange

Imperial IPA – ABV 9.5%

This unashamedly old-school imperial IPA is a golden hazy colour with sweet dried fruit and orange marmalade notes, plus lots of alcohol warmth and toffee.

Look: It pours golden in the glass with a small slightly off-white head :

Aroma: Lovely sunshine notes of citrus, pine and just a hint of pineapple.

Taste: First you get grapefruit and orange marmalade with lots of booziness, set against a backbone of slightly sweet toffee and dried fruit.

Food pairing: The beer sits slightly toward the sweeter end of the spectrum for a strong IPA so try serving it with sticky, sweet jerk chicken.

The hops will cut right through any grease, while the spices accentuate the booziness of the beer. Win-win.

SitiS Imperial IPA – ABV 8.5%

Dedicated to “many years of admiration and friendship” between De Molen and Omnipollo, the Citra and Columbus hops make this IPA sweet hazy and bitter.

Look: Amber-orange and hazy with a small white head.

Aroma: Sweet and fruity; it’s bursting with pineapple, orange and zesty lemon.

Taste: Boozy and robust malts with notes of pine, tropical fruit and some hoppy bitterness. Lasting sweetness in the finish.

Verdict: A fitting dedication to years of friendship. Long may it continue!

Amalgamation – ABV 8.0%

Amalgamation is a mix of ideas – part tripel, part Belgian IPA. Based around a traditional tripel recipe, we reinterpret this classic by amping up the bitterness and adding a big charge of hops right at the end of the brew.

Super Yakima DIPA – ABV 9.6%

With tropical fruit aromas of passionfruit and mango, this is a full-throttle American-style DIPA with a super-long, bitter finish thanks to the new world hops.

Look: Pours light golden and hazy in the glass with a good off white head.

Aroma: Tropical fruit and pine with intense hoppiness

Taste: There is malt, citrus and passionfruit and mango with a nice long bitter finish the resinous hops.

Food Pairing: Salty meats stand up well to the intensity of the hops in a DIPA. Try this one while nibbling away at a plate of charcuterie.

Verdict: Whatever you look for in an American-style DIPA, this beer has got it.

Belgian Red – ABV 7.2%

Cherry – that’s the main ingredient and the main colour of this rich Belgian Red, with nutty continental malts and Saaz and Hersbrucker hops.

Look: Saltaire XS Belgian Red pours a rich ruby red in the glass with the aromas of banana and caramel.

Aroma: There isn’t any fruit listed in the ingredients, but you might feel inclined to check the label. It says hints of plum, but we think it’s more like juicy red cherries laced with banana, set against a smooth caramel malt body.

Food Pairing: There’s good deal of sweetness in this beer that pairs well with salty foods. If we were in Belgium we might be thinking of the Flemish speciality; ham and endive gratin – but it will works just as well with a plate of Yorkshire Ham and Wensleydale.

Verdict: Belgian Reds are sometimes referred to as ‘the Burgundy of Belgium’ – and we think this beer might just be deserving of the title ‘Burgundy of Bradford’. Delicious.

Megawatt – ABV 8.0%

BB date May 2018

This robust Double IPA was first brewed to commemorate our 100th brew. MEGAWATT encapsulates the excitement and exuberance of our first full year in business. We think of it as a ‘Thank You’ in a bottle to everyone who’s supported us so far. It is now an annual release in December and we mix up the hops year to year to reflect how we are evolving and to showcase new varieties.

The 2017 release coincided with our 800th brew. This year it’s jam packed with juicy New World hops – Ekuanot, Bru1, Mosaic and Falconner’s Flight – for a strong and distinctive brew.

Mango DIPA – ABV 8.0%

Juicy and tropical. This double IPA is packed with Citra, Cascade and Summit hops. Fresh mango adds more juiciness, a full body and smoothness on the mouthfeel. Bitterness is medium to allow the fruit notes to shine through: like the Indian sunshine.

IPA – ABV 7.1%

A traditional IPA done well: bitter dry and crisp to make it extremely refreshing combined with sweet tropical fruit against a luxurious yet subtle caramel body.

Look: Five Points IPA pours a hazy golden colour with a nice slightly off white head.

Aroma: Grapefruit, peach and mango the combination of Cascade and Galaxy hops.

Taste: We get grapefruit and pine with more subtle tropical fruit against a softly carbonated caramel body.

Food Pairing:This beer works with salty foods and is equally at home with the umami flavour of meats. So why not do both? Try it with roast chicken and rub some salt into the skin to make it extra crispy.

Verdict: A long bitter finish that makes it extremely refreshing. A classic IPA.

Fred in London – ABV 11.0%
