Umbral Abyss Imperial Coffee Stout – ABV 11.5%

This beer has its genesis in Black Oktober, amped to the max with brandy-soaked coffee beans to create a dark and brooding beast of an Imperial Stout.

Look: Pitch black, with no head to speak of.

Aroma: Dark chocolate, liquorice and espresso.

Taste: The sweet intensity of coffee and chocolate is brought to a crescendo with the subtle notes of brandy, sat against a backbone of smooth roasted malt.

Verdict: Full-on, no-holds barred Imperial Stout that lovers of the style won’t fail to appreciate.

Magic Rock Cannonball ABV 7.4%

Cannonball is an India Pale Ale in the true tradition, high in alcohol and massively hopped to survive a long sea voyage. We don t want you to wait though, crack the cap and let the flavour explode on your palate. Tropically fruity, resinous hops compete against a sweet malty backbone, while a rasping bitterness builds to a mouth puckering crescendo. Our hop bomb might just blow you away

Hard Rollin’ – ABV 7.0%

The name for this collaboration with Dry & Bitter stems our mutual love of travel and oats! Rolled and malted oats in the grist here, along with lactose for a nice creamy body. There’s a hefty dry hop of Ekuanot, Hallertau Blanc and Mandarina for gorgeous dank and fruity aromas. Allergens: Contains Malted Barley, Wheat, Oats

Lightning Sombrero – ABV 8.5%

Best Before date: April 2018 but still tastes great!

This gooseberry DIPA is the result of a very fun brew day with Wild Weather Ales and is a fruity flavour bomb!

Barrel Aged Fruitcake

A fruity brown ale, aged in a bourbon cask for 9 months, smokey, oaky and a pronounced bourbon flavour and aroma

White Stout – ABV – 7.2%

Two hundred years ago, before the porter brewers commandeered “stout” to mean stout or strong porter, a stout beer was a strong beer. It did not have to be black. We have re-created the style using modern hops and a full malt body.

Tasting Notes: Maris Otter malt and Columbus hops combine to make a very drinkable strong ale. A fresh, full beginning gives way to a spicy, bittersweet finish. A pale body supports perfumy, spicy hop flavours and aromas. Intense bitterness is balanced by forest fruits and mango.

Extra Stout – ABV 7.4%

Brewed to celebrate the arrival of Buxton’s new brewer Colin Stronge. Extra stout has a full rich body with huge proportions of dark malt that lend this traditional stout masses of tar, smoke and leather.
